Becoming a mentor with Boys to Men Mentoring begins by volunteering at a local school. Mentors are the foundation of our organization—without them, our program couldn’t thrive. We provide stipends for senior mentors, lead mentors, facilitators, and mentor trainers.
Our mentors are men who care deeply about supporting boys and young men in our communities. Mentoring requires a commitment of about one to two hours per week throughout the school year. All new mentors participate in an orientation training to get started and must complete preliminary screenings, including State and Federal background checks.
