Everyone feels good about giving. Our job is to present Boys To Men Mentoring as the most compelling option this Holiday Season.

We think it's easier to raise healthy boys than to fix broken men. This program has the potential to shape our collective future and is a worthy cause that anyone will feel great about supporting.

JOIN THE TEAM 

1. Read these eight steps before you register. When you have completed reading all 8, click the Register button at the bottom of Step 8.

2. During registration set your goal. It is important to have a goal in mind, one that is attainable but not easy. Without a goal we have no direction forward, nothing to attain. When people come to your page they will see your goal and how far you have to go. They will want to help you. The default goal for individuals  is set at $1,000 and the minimum goal is set at $500. These goals may be a stretch for some but easy for others and are a great place to start. If you hit your goal before the end of the fundraiser, you can set a new one. [Hitting or not hitting goals does not affect Prize Awards for Top Fundraisers.]

3. Donate during registration: A donation is not required, however you will be asking people to donate and you set the example for others to follow. If you don't donate, why would they? TIP: Donate the amount you would like to see as the average donation that people give.

4. Upon completing registration you will receive a link via email to your Personal Fundraising Page. This page will be your hub of activity for fundraising and will help you share this opportunity with people and keep track of donations raised. Make sure to save this link in your notes or files for easy access. Upload your photo and use our text or write your own. Your page will have many tools to help you fundraise. 

5. Complete your fundraising page: Make sure to upload your photo and customize the greeting (optional) at the top that says, "Welcome to My Fundraising Page." Don't forget to link to your social media.

6. Once registered, read the FUNDRAISING GUIDE to get started. The Guide has step by step instructIons on how to make fundraising effective and fun. 

7. Visit the CAMPAIGN INFO page and revisit it each week to stay up on campaign news and events. This page lists current dates and times of all campaign related events, prizes and fundraising activities. 

8. Put the Weekly Fundraising Support Zoom on your Calendar and attend the next available one. These Zoom meetings are a great way to learn more about Boys To Men Mentoring from BTM staff and get support for making calls. Fundraising is more fun in the comaraderie of others.
